Snow Chasing?

Well today was supposed to be a workday in the hanger at CSWR but our vehicle Scout 1 had to go to the shop for some major work.  It's the newest vehicle in the fleet but last night when we arrived into Boulder it wouldn't start again and we found out it has a bent rim.  So a small group of us took off into the mountains instead.  It was a cold, dreary day here in Boulder with lots of misty rain.  BUT just an hour drive away...SNOW!  We drove up the foothills to the town of Nederland (elevation ~8200ft) and played in about 2-3 inches of snow.  All in all, no tornadoes but still a fun weather day!
